Choose the version for your computer. On Windows we recommend the Microsoft Store; the other downloads start straight away. You begin with the free version and activate a licence in the app later, if you buy one.

Microsoft Store
The easiest way on Windows. The version from the Microsoft Store is signed by Microsoft: Windows never blocks it, not even with Smart App Control.
- Windows keeps the app up to date.
- Same app, same licence: activate it in the app under Settings › Licence.
- No administrator rights needed.

Installer
Installs Anatomino for your user account, with a shortcut in the Start menu.

Portable version
A single program file without installation, for example for a computer on which you may not install anything, or on a USB stick.
- Does not update itself: download a new version and replace the file. Your data is kept.

Smart App Control blocked an app
Does Anatomino show the message Smart App Control blocked an app that may be unsafe? Smart App Control is a Windows 11 protection that stops every program that is not signed, even a safe one. Unlike the blue SmartScreen message, it has no button to run the program anyway, and you cannot make an exception for a single app. The installer and the portable version on this page are not signed for now, which is why Smart App Control may block them.
Solution (recommended): install Anatomino from the Microsoft Store. Microsoft signs that version itself, so Smart App Control always lets it through. Your licence works there too. Profiles from an earlier version stay on your computer, in the folder %APPDATA%\Anatomino; email [email protected] if you need help moving them.
Alternative: turn Smart App Control off, in Windows Security › App & browser control › Smart App Control settings › Off. Only do this deliberately: Smart App Control also protects your computer against other programs, and on older versions of Windows 11 you cannot turn it back on without reinstalling Windows.
This does not affect Windows 10 or a Mac.

For a Mac with an M chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 …), most Macs since late 2020.

Which Mac do I have? In the Apple menu, choose About This Mac. If it says Chip Apple M…, take Apple silicon; if it says Processor … Intel, take Intel.
On a Mac, macOS asks for confirmation the first time you open the app: choose Open Anyway in System Settings › Privacy & Security. On a Mac you install updates yourself: the app tells you about a new version and opens the download page.

Age rating: suitable for all ages (PEGI 3, USK 0, ESRB Everyone, IARC 3+).
After installing, sign in with a new profile. You practise the head for free and without limits; you activate a licence in the app under Settings › Licence.
